Water as refrigerant firm wins fast growth award

Efficient-Energy CEO Georg Dietrich (centre), accepts the award from from German tv presenter Susanne Schoene and Dr Andreas Gentner of Deloitte

GERMANY: Efficient Energy, the Bavarian refrigeration pioneer using water as a refrigerant, has been placed third in Germany’s latest Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking.

The Deloitte awards honour the tech industry’s top 50 growth champions based on their percentage increase in revenue over the past four financial years. Efficient Energy’s growth reached 2,044.36% over this period.

The company’s Bluezero technology in its eChiller refrigeration units employs water as a climate-neutral refrigerant.

“Over the past four years, we have succeeded in establishing our eChiller model series in the DACH region and in winning a large number of prestigious organisations as customers,” said CEO Georg Dietrich, accepting the award on behalf of the Efficient Energy team.

“We’re currently expanding our product range to make ‘water as a refrigerant’ available for even more applications. We’re also growing our partner network across Europe which will further drive growth,” he added.
