Triton considering sale of Kelvion
4th February 2025GERMANY: Private equity firm Triton Partners is reported to be considering a sale of German heat exchanger products manufacturer Kelvion.
The financial website Bloomberg reports that Triton has enlisted Morgan Stanley and Guggenheim Partners to assess potential buyers in a deal that could be valued at over €2bn.
Triton acquired the former GEA Heat Exchanger division in 2014 for €1.3bn. The deal comprised 13 companies, including UK businesses Searle and Denco and the German refrigeration companies Kuba and Goedhart.
The Searle, Goedhart and Kuba businesses were renamed Kelvion in 2015.
