Swegon buys Swedish ventilation company

SWEDEN: Gothenburg-based HVAC manufacturer Swegon has strengthened its ventilation portfolio with the acquisition of Swedish compatriot ABC Ventilationsprodukter. 

Founded in 1976, ABC Ventilationsprodukter manufactures a broad range of products, including roof hoods, louvres, and fire and smoke products. It has 90 employees and operates from its head office and factory in Borås, Sweden. Net sales in 2021 amounted to SEK138m (€13m).

“We have a long history of collaboration and are now pleased to welcome ABC Ventilationsprodukter to the Swegon family,” said Swegon Group CEO Andreas Örje Wellstam. “With their complementary product portfolio as well as their expertise, ABC Ventilationsprodukter will be a great addition to our complete indoor climate system that will strengthen our position on the market even further.”
