Secop moves to new Flensburg HQ

GERMANY: Compressor manufacturer Secop has moved its headquarters to a new location in Flensburg, Germany.

The relocation sees the former Danfoss Compressors business move from its premises on Mads Clausen Straße, 6km across Flensburg to a new industrial park south of the town centre.

The new location was prompted by the growth of the business and planned future developments. The new headquarters also enables Secop to combine all competences at one location, a move which it predicts will boost efficiency and enable flexibility to support its expansion plans.

It will house Secop’s global motor and electronics R&D centre, global application, finance, marketing, and all administration and logistic functions.

The new R&D centre is in an annex where tests can be directly run at the site to exploit all the capabilities for compressor and application testing as well as motor and electronic design.

A new showroom has also been included at the new headquarters.

The new address is: Secop GmbH, Lise-Meitner-Straße 29, 24941 Flensburg, Germany. Tel: +49 461 49410

Secop has belonged to the ESSVP IV fund since September 2019.
