Sauermann buys Kimo distributors

FRANCE: Sauermann has followed up its acquisition of instrument maker Kimo, last year, by buying two of its Southern European distributors.

The purchase of Kimo’s Spanish distributor Adrover Instruments SL, last week, followed a similar deal for Ki Srl in Italy in May.

Condensate pump manufacturer Sauermann says the acquisition provides it with a strong base in the region with established offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Bologna and Milan. The Spanish subsidiary will be renamed Sauermann Iberica Pumps and Instruments .

“With this acquisition, Sauermann and Kimo are taking further strong steps together to expand in Southern Europe,” said Serge Bohyn, CEO of the Sauermann Group. “I look forward to increasing our proximity to our customers and providing them with a wide array of top-quality instruments, condensate removal pumps and services.”

The Sauermann Group acquired Kimo, the French market leader for measurement instruments, in July 2015.
