Sanhua expands Vietnamese plant

VIETNAM: Chinese air conditioning and refrigeration component manufacturer Sanhua has completed phase 2 of a US$60.8m investment in its factory in Vietnam.

Last week’s official opening of the 131,000m2 extension builds on the company’s initial investment in a 7,000m2 valve plant in August 2018.

Situated in the northern coastal city of Hai Phong, the factory currently generates an annual average revenue of over US$31m. The expansion is expected to increase sales to around US$212m per year.
