Sanhua buys US tube company
20th July 2018USA: Chinese HVACR components manufacturer Sanhua has established a further US production base with the acquisition of Arkansas-based American Tubing International.
Established in 1976 in Springdale, Arkansas, American Tubing International produces copper assemblies for use in the air conditioning and refrigeration industries. These include elbows, return bends, multi-bend crossovers, coils, non-brazed assemblies, header or manifold assemblies, and custom tube configurations, as well as brass, cupronickel, and aluminium fabrications.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In 2013, Sanhua acquired R- Squared Puckett Inc of Puckett, Mississippi, a manufacturer of aluminium heat exchanger components.
