Robertshaw sold to private equity firm
5th January 2018USA: Controls company Robertshaw Holdings has been acquired by a subsidiary of New-York-based private equity company One Rock Capital Partners.
Headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, Robertshaw is a global leader in thermal, flow and control management products and solutions for residential and commercial appliances, including air conditioning, refrigeration and transportation applications.
Robertshaw services its global blue-chip customer base through manufacturing, R&D, support and distribution facilities in 11 countries around the world.
Mark L Balcunas, who has been with Robertshaw since 1979 and will remain as CEO, stated, “We will become an even stronger supplier of controls and solutions to the industries we serve through our One Rock partnership. With their support, my leadership team and I are excited about our future.”
Robertshaw brands comprise Robertshaw, Ranco, Paragon and Uni-Line, mainly sold to the white goods industry.
Producing more than 10,000 different controls, Robertshaw employs over 6,300 employees in 11 countries, has four engineering centres, eleven manufacturing plants, and seven distribution centres.
