Marino Tanas joins Carel

ITALY: Refrigeration controls manufacturer Carel has appointed Marino Tanas to the new position of regional CEO for Western Europe. 

Tanas joins Carel from Copeland where, for the last 18 months, he was vice president, electronics and controls, and business development, Asia. Prior to that he spent nearly 11 years at Emerson in a number of managerial roles.

He will oversee Carel’s operations in its subsidiaries located in Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Germany and the Nordic countries, reporting directly to the managing directors of those organisations.

The appointment is part of a new organisational structure devised by Carel and already implemented in APAC, EEMEA and the Americas to improve its proximity to and understanding of its customers.
