Lennox revenue up 32%

USA: Lennox International has reported revenue up 32% to a record $1.24bn in the second quarter. Operating income was up 59% to a record $216m. 

Strong growth across all three of its businesses: Residential Heating & Cooling, Commercial Heating & Cooling, and Refrigeration.

“Our Residential business set new highs for revenue, margin and profit,” announced Lennox chairman and CEO Todd Bluedorn. “Revenue rose 30% on strong growth in both replacement and new construction business. 

“In Commercial, revenue was up 34%. National accounts revenue was up more than 50%, and regional and local revenue was up more than 20%,” he added.

Commercial profit rose 27%. In Refrigeration, revenue was up 37% on strong growth in both North America and Europe.
