Kuntz is CEO of Mitsubishi/Trane joint venture

USA: Mark Kuntz has been named as CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Trane (METUS), the joint venture formed last year to sell ductless and VRF air conditioning systems in the US.

Kuntz, who has worked for Mitsubishi Electric in the US for the last nine years, has been chief operating officer of the new joint venture since August. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, he spent two years with Lennox International.

“Mark has played an instrumental leadership role in the formation and success of the METUS joint venture,” said Dave Regnery, executive vice president of Ingersoll Rand. “His strong HVAC industry knowledge paired with his vision and track record of operating performance make him the ideal CEO for the joint venture.”
