Kobe the focus for new refrigerants
1st September 2014JAPAN: Low GWP, mildly flammable A2L refrigerants will be one of the main topics for discussion at this year’s Japanese industry symposium on new refrigerants.
The biennial international conference, organised by the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA), entitled New Refrigerants and Environmental Technology, reveals and discusses the very latest technology advancements in the Far East.
The global move towards lower GWP refrigerants is high on the agenda with technical paper presentations from experts from around the world, detailing technological advances with both “natural” refrigerants and low GWP HFCs.
The symposium is backed by the International Council of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Manufacturers’ Associations (ICARHMA), European bodies EPEE and Eurovent, America’s Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) as well as associations and institutes from Brazil, Australia, China, Canada and Korea.
The event takes place from November 20-21 at the Kobe International Conference Centre.
