DiversiTech acquires Canadian firm Alltemp

AlltempUSA: DiversiTech, the US manufacturer and supplier of HVACR parts and accessories, has purchased Canadian parts supplier Alltemp Products.

Founded in 1970 and based in Pickering, Ontario, Alltemp serves Canadian wholesalers offering a wide array of parts and supplies for HVAC equipment, electrical motors and pumps. Under terms of the agreement, Alltemp will retain its name and operate independently as a DiversiTech company. Richard Chalmers, Alltemp vice president who has been with the company for over 30 years, will continue to lead the Alltemp business.

The acquisition of Alltemp expands DiversiTech’s established Canadian channel and, the company says, gives customers in that market an even more diverse line of products. DiversiTech says the transaction will simplify order placement and fulfillment for customers.

The two companies say they will operate “business as usual,” each serving and fulfilling orders for their respective customers for the remainder of this year while preparations are completed to facilitate consolidated ordering through the Alltemp organisation.

DiversiTech’s acquisition of Alltemp is the company’s sixth acquisition in the past 12 months.
