Danfoss to close Danish refrigeration valve plant
27th January 2020DENMARK: Danfoss is to close its refrigeration and air conditioning valves factory in Kolding, Denmark, moving production to its Grodzisk manufacturing plant in Poland.
The Kolding plant, which was established in the mid-1970s, is scheduled to close in 2022 with the loss of 335 jobs.
According to Danfoss, the factory is no longer competitive.
Last week, the company announced the closure of its US scroll compressor plant in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, by the end of this year.
Danfoss has also announced the closure of its Danish heating component facilities in Vejle and Viby.
