Danfoss China factories back at 95% capacity
17th March 2020CHINA: Danfoss’ six factories in China are said to be back at an average production capacity of 95% after reopening following the enforced coronavirus closures.
The company’s Chinese factories – as almost all factories in China – were closed from mid-January to mid-February.
A post on the Danish manufacturers’ Linkedin page says its colleagues in China faced a huge backlog on their first day back but are now backed to near pre-closure production levels.
To prevent the virus from remerging, the 4,000+ workers wear masks, wash hands, and have their temperature checked twice a day. They are also only allowed into the canteen one person at a time.
