Daikin signs Turkish supply deal for R407H

TURKEY: Istanbul-based refrigerant supplier Derkim Kimya has been appointed as a sales agent for Daikin’s R407H replacement for R404A.

The deal with Daikin Fluorochemicals (China) will enable Derkim to offer the lower GWP refrigerant to Turkish customers.

Marketed by Daikin under the brand name Creard, R407H is a blend of R134a, R32 and R125. It has a GWP of 1495, compared to R404A’s GWP of 3,922.

Derkim Kimya has been a key refrigerant supplier in Turkiye since 2010, known for its D-Gas brand refrigerants.

The two companies are said to be looking to develop the cooperation in the future by offering new very low GWP refrigerants to the Turkish refrigeration and cooling industry.
