Cuba becomes 74th country to ratify Kigali

CUBA: The Republic of Cuba has become the 74th country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.
The addition of Cuba on June 20 is the first since ratification by Namibia in May.
Under the Kigali Amendment, adopted by 197 countries in 2016, countries countries committed to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
