Copper firm Wieland buys US distributor

USA: German copper tube manufacturer Wieland has expanded its North American sales network with the acquisition of a majority stake in its US distributor Kessler Sales & Distribution.

Kessler is an 80-year-old, third generation family owned business supporting the independent wholesale channel in the plumbing, HVAC, industrial and commercial markets.

Headquartered in Woodbridge, NJ, Kessler has seven strategically located distribution centres across the US. In close cooperation with Wieland’s US subsidiary Wieland Copper Products LLC, in Pine Hall, NC, the company will now operate as Wieland-Kessler LLC.
