Chillventa 2024 set to be a record-breaker

GERMANY: Chillventa 2024 looks set to return the leading European refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump show to its pre-covid highs when it opens its doors on Tuesday (October 8).

With fully booked halls and a reported total of 1018 exhibitors – just one short of its 2018 record – the organiser must be confident that, with the high level of interest in heat pumps and questions over the new F-gas regulation, it can at least match 2018’s record 35,490 visitor attendance.

“In 2024, visitors can once again have high expectations of Chillventa and get the most out of their visit. As well as fantastic products and innovations from more than 1,000 leading international exhibitors across the entire supply chain from around 50 countries, our supporting programme is now even more diverse and offers many great opportunities to acquire knowledge, nurture existing contacts and discover new networks,” commented Daniela Heinkel, NürnbergMesse’s director of Chillventa.

Building on Monday’s Chillventa Congress, the exhibition includes an expanded supporting programme with numerous forums and special presentations.

Around 200 presentations with practical tips are provided by industry experts in four Chillventa forums. The highlights of the Practical Guide to Digitisation forum (hall 9) include interviews with experts on topics like BIM, controlling building services technology with AI, apps and voice commands, augmented and virtual reality, digital order management or digital construction files. Interested visitors can learn more about the planned PFAS ban or the amended F-gas regulation in the Applications, Education & Regulations forum in hall 8. In the two forums Refrigeration Technology (hall 7A) and Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Heat Pumps (hall 4A), visitors will be presented with the latest issues affecting the industry.

As well as the four specialist forums, the German Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology will feature demonstrations of leak detection and tightness tests in hall 4. Nearby, in hall 4A, the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) will host the AIT Heat Pump Innovation Lounge, an area devoted entirely to latest developments and research findings.

Chillventa 2024 runs from October 8-10 at the NürnbergMesse, Nuremberg, Germany.
