Chiller test facility is AHRI-certified

INDIA: Blue Star’s new chiller test facilities in Wada, India, have been certified by the US Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).

The new state-of-the-art facilities, established at the air conditioning and commercial refrigeration manufacturer’s R&D centre, is said to be able to simulate the widest range of chiller operating conditions. It can test air-cooled chillers of up to 440TR and water-cooled chillers up to 712TR. 

Certified in accordance with AHRI’s 550/590 and 551/591 standards, the test facilities are designed to test products to both Indian and International standards. 

Blue Star manufactures a wide range of chillers including process chillers, scroll chillers, screw chillers, and centrifugal chillers. It was also the first to introduce Turbocor chillers in India.
