Carrier and Bosch in heat pump JV
11th November 2013USA: Carrier is to form a joint venture with Robert Bosch North America to produce residential and commercial heat pumps for the North American market.
The move has been prompted by predictions that sales of geothermal heat pumps are expected to nearly triple by 2020, Carrier’s geothermal and water-source heat pumps will be developed and manufactured at Robert Bosch’s exiting Florida Heat Pump manufacturing plant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sales channels and the respective brands for each company will remain independent of one another.
