Camfil builds new China facility

SWEDEN/CHINA: Swedish filtration company Camfil is constructing a new 40,467m2 state-of-the-art facility in Taicang city, Jiangsu province, China.

The new facility, to become operational next year, will include an advanced research and development centre with the ability to design custom specific products for the Asia Pacific market. 

The new laboratory will also enable filter testing according to ISO 16890.  

Camfil reports that the new facility is its first integrated factory that will include four production lines: general ventilation filter, turbo machinery filter, molecular contamination control filter, and a new series for air pollution control along with a metal works centre for housing, air cleaner and dust collector.

With its headquarters in Stockholm, Camfil operates 30 manufacturing sites, six R&D centres and local sales offices in 30 countries.
