Beijer Ref reports best ever Q1

SWEDEN: Refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaler Beijer Ref has reported a total sales increase of 31.4% to SEK4,903m (€478m) in Q1. Organic sales increased by 15.8%.

With EBITA up 48.3% to SEK 407m (€40m) and EBITA margin at 8.3%, compared to 7.4 to the corresponding quarter in 2021, this is recorded as Beijer Ref’s best ever first quarter, in absolute terms.

”We began the year strongly with organic sales increase of 16%. All of our geographical segments had positive developments and we report total sales growth of 31% compared with the same period last year. Our southern hemisphere markets had a good summer season and the acquisitions in Asia Pacific (APAC) show good growth,” said Beijer Ref CEO Christopher Norbye.
