Atlas Copco acquires rental company Delta Temp
5th April 2024SWEDEN/BELGIUM: Delta Temp, a company that provides rental solutions for industrial cooling applications has become part of Atlas Copco Group.
Founded in 2005 and based in Oosterzele, south east of Ghent, Delta Temp is a privately owned company and has 20 employees. The company has a presence in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and revenues of around €9m.
Delta Temp owns a fleet of chillers and related accessories and designs and delivers total customised rental solutions for industrial cooling applications.
“Delta Temp’s technical competence and application expertise, combined with the specialty rental division’s existing large industrial customer base, will enable us to accelerate the growth of our temperature control business in Europe,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s power technique business area.
Main customer segments include general manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, and steel production among others.
The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired business becomes part of the Atlas Copco Group’s specialty rental division.
Atlas Copco is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with customers in more than 180 countries. In 2022, Its four business areas encompass compressed air and vacuum solutions, energy solutions, dewatering and industrial pumps, industrial power tools and assembly and machine vision solutions.
