AHR Expo donates to Chicago charity
5th December 2017USA: The organiser of the AHR Expo, the US HVACR show in Chicago in January, has donated $20,700 to a local charity.
Each year, the AHR Expo donates the entry fees from its Innovation Awards competition to a charitable organisation within the region where the Show is being held.
For 2018, the AHR Expo has chosen to donate the funds to the Chicago Lighthouse, a non-profit organisation serving the blind, visually impaired, disabled and veteran communities with comprehensive vision care and support services.
“Every year we hold the AHR Expo in a different city and are welcomed warmly by the community. We are pleased to be able to give something back through providing a donation to a local organisation,” said Clay Stevens, manager of the AHR Expo.
The 2018 AHR Expo is being held at McCormick Place, Chicago, from January 22-24.
