A-Gas signs refrigerant reclaim deal with Daikin
13th April 2021SINGAPORE: A-Gas’ Singapore subsidiary, VEMAC, has signed an agreement with air conditioning manufacturer Daikin to provide refrigerant recovery solutions across the nation.
Working with Daikin Singapore, VEMAC will reclaim refrigerant recovered from air conditioning units to meet international AHRI 700 standards. This material will then be and made available for reuse as part of Daikin’s circular economy approach.
“Daikin has values that closely align with A-Gas, to protect and enhance the environment by reducing global warming gases and preventing their release into the atmosphere,” commented A-Gas Asia director Terry Mo.
Daikin will also be conducting training sessions for installers to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skill in the handling of refrigerant.
