Waterloo wins Kent manufacturing award

UK: Chilled beam and ventilation product manufacturer Waterloo Air Products has been named Manufacturer of the Year at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards 2018.

The competition, which is organised by the local chamber of commerce, saw the Aylesford-based company presented with their award at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge last month.

“We believe the win was because of our investment in the factory including a new paint shop, alongside our customer first strategy,” said operations director John Tiernan. “This was put in place several years ago and is at the core of our current success. We know that contractors and building engineers are under more pressure to deliver projects on time. As a component manufacturer, we understand the importance of our position in the supply chain.”

Waterloo manufactures a range of ventilation grilles, diffusers, weather louvres, VAV systems, plenum boxes and both active and passive chilled beams.
