Star short-listed for UK employer of the year

UK: Star Refrigeration has been shortlisted for UK Employer of the Year in the Investors in People Awards.

The Investors in People (IIP) Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate excellence in developing their workforce, reinforcing the significance of investing in people as a key driver of success.

Star’s group HR director Nadia Rae was quite obviously delighted to have been shortlisted for the Investors in People’s UK Employer of the Year Award – Platinum in the 250+ employee category.

“This nomination recognises our determination to lead, support and develop our people and provide interesting and rewarding opportunities that continue to make Star a great place to work,” she said.

Platinum status is the highest standard within the IIP framework.

Star Refrigeration started its IIP journey in 2003 and its progression is reflected in their IIP Platinum and IIYP Gold reaccreditation in December 2023.

Star is up against nine other companies in their category. The winners will be announced at the Investors in People Awards event on 13 November at Old Billingsgate in London.
