Next stop: the ATS chiller

McQuay003UK: The London Transport Museum provided an historic setting for the launch of  McQuay’s advanced air-cooled ATS chiller.

Over 100 customers attended the event with a mix of clients including contractors, consultants and end users. Attendees enjoyed drinks and canapés and a presentation featuring the latest inverter screw technology, given by Luca Paolella, vice president for engineering and R&D, McQuay Italia.

The advanced technology of the single screw compressor with built-in inverter and variable volume ratio, which maximises performance at both part and full loads, is said to  produce outstanding energy efficiencies .

Not holding back, Jim Henley, chiller manager at McQuay UK Ltd said: “It’s the best product in its category and will outperform any existing competitors in the marketplace. ATS chillers have lower running costs and use up to 50% less energy than traditional non-inverter chillers. This results in an exceptionally good return on investment and outstanding savings for our customers.”
