Flint leaves Mitsubishi after 20 years

UK: Deane Flint, president of UK & Ireland for Mitsubishi Electric Europe’s air conditioning and heat pump business, has left the company.

Mitsubishi Electric confirmed that Flint left the company on Wednesday (January 27) but no reason has been given for the departure.

Flint had been with the company for 20 years, joining as regional sales manager in 2001. He progressed through a number of sales roles becoming joint MD – joint divisional manager in 2006. He was appointed UK branch president in 2019.

In a statement, Mitsubishi Electric said that Tatsuya Ishikawa, president & CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Europe, will now also act as president of UK & Ireland branch.

“Mr Ishikawa is a long-serving member of the Mitsubishi Electric team and we anticipate no disruption from this change. We remain focussed on supporting our colleagues and partners to continue meeting the needs of our customers,” it said.
