Eddie Jefferies 1947-2019

UK: Eddie Jefferies, founder of Portsmouth-based refrigeration and air conditioning component distributor APJ European Supplies, has died. He was 72.

Jefferies founded APJ in 1994 after 20 years at Virginia KMP, ultimately as UK MD.

His numerous contacts in the industry enabled APJ to become an immediate success, and soon developed into a family business. His daughters Nick Bane and Helen Bradwell became joint MDs of the company following his retirement in 2016.

Helen told the Cooling Post: “It is evident from the such kind words we have received over the last few days how totally respected and well thought of he was within the Industry.”

The funeral is being held on Wednesday May 22. All are welcome. Please contact APJ for details.
