Dave Ball RIP

UK: Dave Ball, one of the UK’s most respected refrigeration engineers, has died at the age of 72, following a sudden Illness.

Ball’s career at J&E Hall spanned more than 40 years as contracting manager and engineering director. Until shortly before his illness he continued as a senior advisor to the company.

A fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration, he also served on the Institute’s executive council.

A company statement said: “As one of the most respected engineers within our industry, Dave’s loss will be felt throughout.

“Dave was always so enthusiastic and proud to be a part of our refrigeration industry and especially as a fellow member always willing to promote and share his unquestionable experience and knowledge. He will be so sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.”
