Capital Cooling completes new warehouse

Capital-Cooling-warehouse

apital-Cooling-warehouse4UK: Commercial refrigeration specialist Capital Cooling has completed its warehouse extension, a month ahead of schedule.

The new 4,000m² £1.5m extension consolidates all of its equipment warehousing at its main site in Broxburn. Previously the warehousing had been split between multiple warehouses.

The company already holds in excess of £2m worth of stock for immediate dispatch around the UK and this new facility will greatly reduce dispatch times for clients.

In addition to the carbon saving achieved by doing away with the requirement to transport equipment between warehouses, the new warehouse has been fitted with energy saving LED lighting throughout and a water filtering system that will ensure any waste returned to the water cycle will be free from chemicals.

This extension is part of an investment programme that also includes a new R&D centre and new service management software – both of which are scheduled for completion before the end of the year.

The new r&d centre will reduce the development time required for new products and will house two environmental test chambers, photo studio and demonstration area.
