Belfield chairs FETA Training and Skills Group

UK: Manufacturers’ group FETA has appointed Wendy Belfield, of BEMS controls company InTandem Systems, as chair of its Training and Skills Group.

As commercial director at the Southampton-based company, Belfield has championed the importance of training and qualifications in the building services sector and played a key role in the development of the BEMS controls engineer apprenticeship.

A long-standing member of the Training and Skills Group, Wendy has actively promoted the key role of T-Levels in starting a professional route to competence and is equally keen to ensure that experienced workers are able to verify their professional competence.

Wendy takes over from Graham Wright who has chaired the group since its inception 18 months ago.
