Spotlight on energy efficiency upgrades
27th November 2016UK: Airedale International has produced a video spotlighting how a few relatively simple upgrades can improve the energy efficiency of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
With HVAC equipment accounting for around 39% of the energy consumption in commercial buildings, video presenter and Airedale project engineer Jon Cree suggests that rather than looking to immediately replace, energy savings can be achieved via simple upgrades.
These include swapping from AC to EC fans, retrofitting electronic expansion valves and variable speed drives, reviewing refrigerant charge levels and implementing submetering.
