Key political issues at EPEE/ASERCOM event
28th August 2024GERMANY: Key political issues for the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sectors will be discussed at a special symposium on the eve of the Chillventa exhibition.
Organised by the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), and ASERCOM, the Association of European Refrigeration Component manufacturers, is open to all interested attendees and will include several networking opportunities. It is organised into chapters, with the first covering the new F-gas regulation, including implementation, training, what is next for the availability of refrigerants, and more.
Chapter II will look at another milestone in the future of refrigerants, with the PFAS dossier, giving an update of its status and the implications for HFOs and fluoropolymers.
Chapter III will discuss the Ecodesign aspects of RACHP products, highlighting the interplay with the two previous dossiers: F-gas and PFAS. Different product groups will constitute the discussion.
Chapter IV looks at the key challenges of grid stability, facing the energy transition and the much-needed roll-out of heat pumps.
The Symposium finishes with a worldwide view in Chapter V, providing a glimpse of the road to net zero emissions outside of the EU, notably in the USA, Japan, South Korea and China. Each chapter is followed by a Q&A session.
The symposium take place on Monday, October 7 in Nuremberg. Further details and registration here.
