Trane extends Sintesis Balance range
29th October 2024BELGIUM: Trane has extended its Sintesis Balance CMAF range of air-source multi-pipe units with smaller capacity units.
Now offering capacities from 80kW to 640kW, these multi-pipe units offer full heat recovery with lower GWP refrigerant R454B.
Trane’s Sintesis Balance CMAF units integrates a building’s cooling and heating systems within a single multi-pipe heat pump, while recovering and repurposing heat generated during the cooling cycle which would otherwise be rejected to the atmosphere.
“We need to understand that there is free heat all around us. By using recovered thermal energy to produce hot water, building owners can dramatically reduce their expenditures and contribute to decarbonisation goals,” commented Erik van Oossanen, Trane EMEA product management leader.
With COPs up to 3.5 and TER up to 8.3, the Sintesis Balance CMAF features Trane’s Adaptive Refrigerant System (TARS) which optimises the refrigerant charge in each operating mode. It also enables a wider heating operating map, allowing for hot water delivery of up to 60°C.
Its four-compressor design, spread over two refrigerant circuits provides more part-load steps, ensuring consistent performance even in variable load conditions.
The Sintesis Balance CMAF units with R454B are available across EMEA, Australia and New Zealand.
