SWEP extends BPHE offering

USA: SWEP has introduced two new brazed plate heat exchangers – B4T-U and V250AS – to the refrigeration and air conditioning markets.

The B4T-U (ultra pressure) model has been developed for CO2 refrigeration applications, with a specific focus on water loop applications and small condensing units. Compact in size and designed to withstand transcritical pressures, this new BPHE model can be used as a condenser, economiser and gas cooler.

The V250AS evaporator is designed for the air conditioning market and covers an operating range between 80kW and 250kW. It ia aimed at reversible chiller applications with a higher temperature approach, making it suitable for medium to low-efficiency applications where the pressure drop over the distribution device needs to be low.
