Roller extends air cooler options

GERMANY: Roller has extended its long-established FHV/T commercial air cooler series with further variables in the unit depth.

The core idea behind the modular design of the FHV/T is to cover the requirements for different cooling applications in a project with just one unit series. The unit can be variably configured with one to six fans in diameters of 250mm, 300mm and 450mm, different blade geometries, material combinations and accessories in different lengths and heights.

New is the additional options of 4 or 6 tube rows in the block depth for the larger types with one to three fans of 450mm diameter. Fin spacing is 4mm and 7mm for HFC and brine or 4mm, 7mm and 12mm for CO2.

With a unit height from 350mm, Roller claims the FHV series is one of the flattest and most compact modular-cubic air coolers in its performance class.

Fans and heating rods for the one- to three-fan units are pre-wired to external terminal boxes for easy installation and service.

The new modular combinations can be configured in the new version of the free-to-download selection software from April 1 at www.walterroller.de.
