Ritchie updates Yellow Jacket vacuum pump

USA: Ritchie Engineering has upgraded the Bullett range of Yellow Jacket vacuum pumps with the Bullet X, a two-stage rotary vane model with a number of performance improvements.

The Yellow Jacket Bullet X vacuum pump is a 0.5hp, 1725rpm, two-stage rotary vane oil-sealed 7cfm (55cm3/min) pump that pulls down to 25 microns.

It features a wide mouth oil reservoir port for easier and cleaner filling and has a large oil sight glass for easy monitoring of oil levels. A large brass oil drain is said to allow easy access to fast oil changes, internal intake check valve prevents oil backup into the system during a power failure. It also has an intake filter screen to keep damaging particles from entering the pump and a downward-angled oil sump to remove contaminants often trapped in other sump designs
