Panasonic 2-pipe VRF on R32

GERMANY: Panasonic used last week’s Chillventa show to launch its two-pipe VRF ECOi EX MZ1 series on R32.

Of compact design and claimed high seasonal efficiency, the 10HP unit is said to achieve a seasonal space energy efficiency of 310.1% in cooling and 172.4% in heating.

Aimed at commercial applications, it can support up to 1000m of piping for a maximum of 64 indoor units.

With a wide operating range, it can maintain its performance in temperatures as low as -25°C and as high as 52°C.

Standard compliant safety measures for R32 refrigerant are employed, such as efrigerant leak detectors and alarms, complying with EN 378 and IEC 60335-2-40 standards, plus it comes with a two-pipe safety valve kit.

All air-to-air indoor units are equipped with Panasonic’s nanoe X filter system. Hydronic module options are also available, enabling the production of heating and hot water. 

For enhanced ventilation, the series includes options such as ERVs and AHU connection kits. A wide variety of connectivity options, including stand-alone, central, and BMS integration.
