Latest CO2 condensing unit in UK

UK: A new CO2 condensing unit is now available from UK Beijer Ref outlets Dean & Wood and HRP.

Manufactured by Beijer Ref’s Italian manufacturing company, SCM Frigo, the Cubo2 Smart inverter-driven condensing units are available in both medium and low temperature versions.

Previewed at last year’s Euroshop exhibition, the Cubo2 condensing units range from 0.6kW-8kW in medium temperature and 0.7kW-7kW in low temperature.

The units boast easy installation and maintenance and a small footprint. They are equipped with special rotary compressors and high efficiency gas cooler with EC fans.

The Cubo2 Smart was a major feature at MCE this week in Milan

The installation of the UK’s first unit has been completed by Portsmouth-based contractor DCI in one of the Southern Co-operative’s flagship stores at Abbotswood, Hampshire.

Dean & Wood product manager Hayley Billson said: “The F-gas law is driving our industry full circle back to the 1850’s when natural gases were used as refrigerants. Dean & Wood is here to support customers with this mind-set change and have partnered with the CO2 training specialist Cool Concerns to offer a CO2 Cubo2Smart training package to all potential customers.”
