Haori offers the perfect finish

UK: Toshiba has now announced the official launch of its Haori fabric-faced air conditioner.

First revealed by the Cooling Post at the end of last year, the Haori offers a range of textile finishes to suit any home or office interior. Alternatively, the user can select and apply their own textile covering from the supplied fabric pattern kit.

The visual appearance of the unit is matched by its performance. Taking advantage of the lower GWP refrigerant R32, the Haori’s A+++ energy performance is said to provide the best part-load efficiencies in this sector. The system is rated to 8.6 for SEER and 5.1 for SCOP.

The unit’s Quiet function reduces noise from the indoor unit to a barely audible 19dB(A), ensuring a good night’s sleep. Furthermore, the outdoor unit is one of the most silent on the market at a nominal 44 dB(A). Noise levels can in fact be reduced to just 37 dB(A) using a special function activated by the app or remote control.

Haori also features Toshiba’s PM2.5 Ultra-Pure Filter, which captures up to 94% of fine particulate matter with a diameter of more than 2.5 micrometres.

It comes with a stylish remote control with intuitive functions including power select and ECO modes to reduce energy bills, Hi-power for rapid cooling or heating.
