Daiseikai 10 adds wood grille

UK: Toshiba Carrier has launched its new Daiseikai 10 R32 high wall air conditioner onto the UK market.

Crafted using 43% recycled plastic components, the Daiseikai 10 pioneers Toshiba Carrier’s use of eco-compatible materials, while also offering a new authentic wood grille design in addition to white.

Efficient cooling is said to be ensured by the adoption of motion tracking technology to direct airflow to occupied areas. A plasma ioniser removes airborne contaminants like dust, pollen and other allergens, and the ultra-pure filter effectively traps up to 94% of the most harmful ultrafine PM 2.5 particles like smoke, viruses and bacteria.

A “self-cleaning” coated coil ensures the unit remains clean and efficient, and an ultra-quiet operating mode helps suppress ambient noise down to 19dB(A) at low speed.

The Daiseikai 10 also features a Smart Sensing control function app, which allows users to choose between indirect or direct air flow.

Boasting SEERs up to 10.7 and SCOPs up to 5.3, it is available in cooling capacities of 2.5, 3.5 and 5.0kW.

“We’ve ensured easy installation too,” said David Dunn, MD of Toshiba Carrier UK, Carrier Global Comfort Solutions, Europe. “All sizes of indoor units are compatible with both single split and multi-split condensing units. Built-in wi-fi and energy monitoring enable trackable performance insights for ongoing optimisation.”
