Daikin mini chiller now on R32

EUROPE: Daikin is expanding its Bluevolution range with a new R32 mini chiller to replace its existing R410A units.

The new compact units, which are currently being rolled out across Europe, are available in both pure cooling (EWAA-DA) and heat pump versions (EWYA-DA).

Replacing the previous R410A mini chiller (EWAQ-AC and EWYQ-AC), the new R32 units are available in an expanded series from 9kW to 16kW.

The full load efficiency of the new series is said to reach up to a COP of 3.71, an EER of 3.35, while the SEER goes up to 5.79 and the SCOP up to 4.82. The new series is also said to achieve a hot water temperature of 60°C at an outside temperature of down to -7°C. Heating is still possible at an outside temperature of down to -25°C.
