CO2 test and charging manifold
22nd March 2017USA: Ritchie Engineering has introduced a new manifold and hoses designed for transcritical CO2 applications.
The Yellow Jacket Titan test and charging manifold is constructed with a forged aluminium alloy body making it lightweight for handling ease and durability. No sight glass brings added safety.
It features large, easy-to-read 3⅛in (80 mm) liquid-filled red and blue, 1% accuracy (Class 1) gauges reading PSI and bar. True 45° SAE flare hoses of 200cm in length are used, with a fourth hose to enable connection to hi/lo sides, refrigerant tank, and vacuum pump for diagnostics, evacuation and charging without switching hoses. An exclusive 100 mesh filter in-line on all flare fittings helps keep out particulate material and extends the life of the seats.
A ⅜in vacuum port for use with larger hose cuts evacuation time by up to 33%. All other fittings on the unit are ¼in.
