Borea multideck to replace AHT’s Vento series
6th April 2024AUSTRIA: Commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturer AHT has announced the launch of the Borea multideck, as a direct successor to its established Vento series.
Available as both a plug-in and semi plug-in unit, AHT says the Borea is distinguished by its high energy efficiency. Total display area has also been increased by 6% compared to the Vento.
The units use R290 refrigerant but there are plans to expand the series to include CO2 models in the future.
LED lighting is used throughout. Depending on the model, this is available as canopy, vertical, or shelf lighting.
Borea is available in open versions and with a variety of glass doors. Models with glass doors are said to consume 40% less energy than the previous Vento Eco model.
The wide range of customisation options available, such as end glass walls, bumper design, or interior fittings, allows for integration into any market.
Thanks to a new frame construction, the units can be placed directly against walls and connected to the building’s existing condensate water drainage system. Borea also offers various options for placing price tags.
The core of Borea models is a hermetically sealed cooling system that minimises the risk of leaks.
With EEIs from B to E and multi-circuit technology for larger models, Borea is said to guarantee energy efficiency, redundancy, and temperature stability.
