Aqurea Loop R290 heat pump for apartments
19th October 2024GERMANY: The Aquarea Loop is a decentralised water-to-air heat pump system, designed for low-temperature centralised water loops in multi-family buildings.
Unveiled by Panasonic at Chillventa, the Aquarea Loop is designed to provide heating and cooling for each apartment in multi-family buildings connected to a central water loop.
The system circulates water year-round at a temperature of around 20ºC to 30°C, preventing condensation on uninsulated pipes during summer. The Aquarea Loop adjusts the water temperature to optimal levels. Thanks to a small built-in R290 compressor, it not only warms a room but can also provide cooling during summer.
It is designed to replace existing radiators in centralised heating systems, while allowing the reuse of the existing piping.
