Air-cooled screw chiller on R1234yf

JAPAN: Hitachi Johnson Controls Air Conditioning has added an air-cooled screw chiller running on low GWP HFO refrigerant R1234yf to its Matrix Advance range.

Its large capacity and modular design is said to make it easy to replace an existing integrated screw chiller, reducing on-site construction work.

Equipped with module control function, it can support up to 960hp equivalent by combining six models of 40 to 120hp equivalent.

Hitachi Johnson Controls has previously adopted R1234yf in its water-cooled screw chillers.
