A2L and R290 leak detector

SWEDEN: The Samon Glaciär Micro small-format A2L and R290 refrigerant leak detector is designed for integration into both HVAC and commercial refrigeration OEM equipment.

Glaciär Micro uses infrared sensor technology, which according to Samon is field proven over many years and unaffected by false alarms due to cross-gas interference, cannot be poisoned, and has a long life span typically in excess of 10 years. They are also very cost-effective for %LFL detection, the company says.

Infrared sensor technology does not require maintenance and is equipped with auto-calibration of the zero point, protecting the measurement against offsets from baseline drift over time.

Rated IP65, Glaciär Micro can be installed in harsh environments where equipment is washed down with water and cleaning fluids. It also uses UV-protected materials, meaning there is no damage from UV-light cleaning regimes.

It has a small footprint and low profile, measuring only 56x128x27mm and weighing just 75g.
